Often if our confidence is sinking it seems like it will take some sort of magic to get ourselves motivated. Nope – No magic required!
Changing a habit doesn’t have to be complicated. Remember our motto? Keep It Straightforward and Simple! There is really only a few things you need to know – the basic steps of habit change:
- Have a written plan – put it where you can see it several times a day
- Identify a specific behavior you want to change and what you want to use as a replacement.
- Focus on doing the replacement habit every single time the trigger happen, for about 30 days
Now you are ready to work on additional behaviors – working on too many at one time is a set up for failure.
