RentABILITY is a tenant education training course using the Ready-to-Rent curriculum. It meets one 3-hour session per week, for 4 weeks.
We have had lots of requests for a quicker version of the Ready-to-Rent class, so we created our own brand new condensed version – it covers everything that is typically included in the 6-week version but at a faster pace.
The course provides a comprehensive overview of what it means to be a renter. Topics include:
☛ Know the right and responsibilities of renting – whether as a tenant or as a landlord
☛ Quit paying application fees only to be turned down
☛ TEAMwork: How to work *with* your landlord – or – How to work *with* your tenant
☛ What deposits pay for – What is the tenant’s responsibility and what is the landlord’s
☛ Screening report (criminal, eviction, name/address) review – REQUIRED for graduation.*
☛ Individualized Housing Portfolio – REQUIRED for graduation.
☛ Written assignments in work book – REQUIRED for graduation.
*Screening report may be purchased for an additional $18 (due the first class)
This class meets every week on Saturdays (9:00am – 12:00pm) through December 22nd.
